With its unending fights and controversies, Big Boss’ 16th season has kept viewers glued to the screen from the start. A lot of drama has been playing out in the Big Boss house throughout the first two weeks. Early on in the show’s run, many relationships fell apart, and the weekend ka waar episodes have caused numerous arguments and battles inside the house. Shalin Bhanot, who entered the house with a power-packed and spectacular performance, has now become the most controversial contestant inside the house.
While the ‘Shalin-Sumbul’ dispute had not even been resolved, the big boss house witnessed another shocking rivalry, between so-called brothers Shalin Bhanot and Gautam Vig, in a recent episode. Shalin was humiliated and schooled by Sumbul’s father and the host of the show, Salman Khan, on national television. The actor was seen apologizing with folded hands on the recent weekend ka waar episode. The fact that Gautam Vig did not approach Shalin even once while he was being bashed on national television caused Shalin to become exceedingly agitated. Responding to Gautam’s actions, Bhanot was heard saying that he cannot trust Gautam as a friend ever again in the house.
Later in the episode, Tina Dutta, who faced a lot of flake over playing around with Sumbul Touqeer Khan inside the house, approached Gautam Vig and tried to sort things out between the two brothers. The actress explained to Gautam that Shalin was so hurt by his absence that he broke down in tears. When the latter learned that Shalin was crying, he expressed disbelief and said he had been unaware of the entire situation and had been unaware that Shalin needed him.
After Shalin lashed at Gautam Vig for not being around him when everyone in the house was going against him, Gautam bluntly told the actor that he was responsible for his own actions. The captain of the big boss house also mentioned that he had earlier warned Shalin to be careful with Sumbul, but the actor chose to overlook all his advice. Later, as the argument started getting ugly, Gautam Vig walked out of the conversation, suggesting Shalin do whatever he thinks is right.
While a majority of viewers are slamming Shalin Bhanot for his arrogant behaviour towards the contestants, a few are actually taking a dig at the host of the show, Salman Khan, for uselessly slamming Tina Dutta and Shalin Bhanot to such brutal, extents and for being biased towards Sumbul Touqeer Khan who according to the Netizens is acting ‘dumb’ and ‘stupid’ inside the Big Boss house.
