Actor Mithilesh Chaturvedi dies at 68 of cardiac arrest
Mithilesh Chaturvedi, known for his roles in films such as Gadar and Fiza, as well as television shows such as Scam 1992, died on August 4 in Mumbai from a cardiac arrest. He was 68. Mithilesh’s son-in-law, Ashish Chaturvedi, told that the senior actor died on Thursday morning after suffering a cardiac arrest at 4 a.m.

Mithilesh Chaturvedi, known for his roles in films such as Gadar and Fiza, as well as television shows such as Scam 1992, died on August 4 in Mumbai from a cardiac arrest. He was 68. Mithilesh’s son-in-law, Ashish Chaturvedi, told that the senior actor died on Thursday morning after suffering a cardiac arrest at 4 a.m.
“Mithilesh ji had heart issues and was being treated at Kokilaben Ambani hospital for the last ten days,” he explained. He had a heart attack this morning at 4 a.m. and died as a result.” His funeral will take place today, around 2-3 p.m., in Mumbai’s Versova.
The actor is known for being a part of multiple films and shows such as Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, Koi Mil Gaya, My Friend Pinto, Phata Poster Nikla Hero and Ready amongst others. He was also an active part of the theatre world and was a regular name in the circle of artists from the showbiz.
He appeared in TV shows such as Patiala Babes and web shows like Scam 1992 where he played Ram Jethmalani. He last appeared in Gulabo Sitabo with Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana.
