NTA to Release UGC NET June 2026 Answer Key This Week, Other Exam Keys Also Expected

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the provisional answer key for UGC NET June 2026 this week. Along with UGC NET, the agency is also likely to publish answer keys for several other major examinations, including CSIR UGC NET, ICAR AIEEA (PG) and AICE (PhD) 2026.

Once the provisional answer keys are available, candidates will be able to access them through the official NTA website. The agency will also open an objection window, allowing candidates to challenge answers they believe are incorrect.

NTA will review the objections received from candidates before preparing the final answer key.

UGC NET June 2026 Answer Key

The expected release of the UGC NET provisional answer key comes after candidates raised concerns over the delay.

The UGC NET June 2026 examination was conducted from June 22 to June 30 and again on July 5. The examination is held for candidates seeking eligibility for Assistant Professor positions, admission to PhD programmes and the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).

The delay in releasing the answer key has left many candidates waiting for clarity about their performance and further academic or research plans.

What Can Candidates Do After the Answer Key Is Released?

After NTA publishes the provisional answer key, candidates will be able to compare it with their recorded responses and estimate their probable scores.

If a candidate believes that an answer provided in the provisional key is incorrect, they will be able to submit an objection during the specified objection period.

Candidates will have to follow the instructions provided by NTA while submitting challenges. An objection fee may also apply as per the official notification.

NTA will examine the challenges received during the objection window. If an objection is found to be valid, the agency may make the necessary correction before preparing the final answer key.

The final answer key will be used as the basis for the subsequent result process.

Other NTA Exams to Get Answer Keys

The NTA is also expected to release provisional answer keys for several other examinations this week.

These include:

CSIR UGC NET

The CSIR UGC NET examination is conducted for determining eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship and Lectureship or Assistant Professor positions in science-related subjects.

ICAR AIEEA (PG)

The ICAR AIEEA (PG) examination is conducted for admission to postgraduate programmes in agricultural and allied fields.

AICE (PhD)

The All India Competitive Examination (AICE) for PhD admissions is conducted for candidates seeking admission to doctoral programmes.

Candidates Should Follow Official NTA Updates

Candidates should regularly check the official NTA website for the provisional answer keys and objection forms.

They should also carefully check the deadlines and instructions once the answer key is released. Candidates are advised not to rely on unofficial social media posts or unverified websites for information about the answer key release.

The provisional answer key will give candidates an opportunity to assess their performance and raise objections before NTA prepares the final answer key.
