The 2022 Triumph Tiger 1200 is now available in India, with prices starting at 19.19 lakh rupees

The Triumph Tiger 1200 starts at Rs. 19.19 lakh and goes up to Rs. 21.69 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2022 Triumph Tiger 1200 has finally arrived in India after a long wait. The all-new Tiger 1200 is available in two variants and four trim levels, with prices starting at 19.19 lakh for the GT Pro, 20.69 lakh for the GT Explorer, 20.19 lakh for the Rally Pro, and 21.69 lakh for the top-spec Rally Explorer variant. All prices are in Indian rupees and are ex-showroom. The new Triumph Tiger 1200 is the company’s flagship adventure bike, competing with the BMW R 1250 GS and the Ducati Multistrada V4.
2022 Triumph Tiger Specifications

The Tiger 1200 is powered by a new 1,160 cc inline three-cylinder engine that produces 147 bhp at 9,000 rpm and 130 Nm of peak torque at 7,000 rpm. It is a variant of the same unit that serves on the Speed Triple. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission and employs a shaft drive system, as well as an assist and slipper clutch. The flagship Tiger is outfitted with Showa USD forks up front and a Showa semi-active monoshock unit in the rear. The suspension travel on the GT Pro and GT Explorer models is 200 mm, while the suspension travel on the Rally and Rally Explorer models is 220 mm. Brembo’s twin 320 mm floating disc brakes provide braking performance.
2022 Triumph Tiger 1200 Models
The new Triumph Tiger 1200 will be available in two models: GT and Rally. As the names suggest, the Rally is designed for off-road use, whereas the GT is designed for tarmac riding. Triumph will also sell the Triger 1200 in two trim levels for each variant. The Tiger 1200 GT Pro and Rally Pro have 20-litre fuel tanks with a range of up to 400 km, while the Rally Explorer and GT Explorer have larger 30-litre tanks with a range of up to 600 km. With the model being more road-biased, the GT range also rides on 19-inch front and 18-inch rear alloy wheels. The Rally model has 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoked wheels, as well as longer travel suspension. The new Tiger 1200 weighs about 25 kg less than its predecessor.
