Apple’s marketing chief claims ‘Samsung developed a poor duplicate of the iPhone’!
Apple official Greg Joswiak has criticised Samsung for its poor imitation of the iPhone. Take a look at his statement.

Apple and Samsung have been at odds over who manufactures the superior smartphone. While Apple went to court to take a shot at Samsung, Samsung has been running advertisements promoting their smartphone as superior. Although the dispute has been toned down, an Apple executive has made a statement that may ruffle Samsung’s feathers. In a recent video commemorating the 15th anniversary of the iPhone, Apple Marketing Chief Greg Joswiak referred to Samsung devices as a “poor imitation” of the iPhone.
The Wall Street Journal documentary shows Joswiak discussing the iPhone in general. When asked how Samsung’s competitiveness affected Apple in the early days of the iPhone, he replied, “[Samsung was] irritating.” And they were vexing because, as you may know, they stole our technology. They grabbed our discoveries and made a terrible replica of them, simply by putting a bigger screen around them. So, obviously, we weren’t thrilled.
It’s unclear whether Joswiak is referring to current or previous Samsung cellphones. In the early years, the Galaxy S and Galaxy Note devices were essentially iPhone knockoffs with a similar home button layout. However, the “rip off” label ends there because Samsung offered a significantly different operating system and several niche features that never made it to the iPhone, such as the S Pen stylus on Samsung Galaxy Note smartphones.
