Bhavish Aggarwal, the CEO of Ola Electric, has taken to Twitter to discuss the future battery-powered automobile. Aggarwal’s most recent tweet revealed that the company is developing an electric model. He further stated that this electric vehicle will be the most sporty in India.
However, several people mocked the story, writing, “Pehle scooter hi thik se banalo” or “First mend your scooter.”
According to the newest teaser, Ola’s forthcoming electric car would be low-slung, broad, and have a coupe-like roofline. However, it is not a 2-door sports vehicle, but rather a 4-door sedan with a huge battery designed for long range.
Earlier this month, it was revealed that the EV manufacturer is seeking for a location to establish an electric four-wheeler and battery cell manufacturing facilities. The EV four-wheeler plant will require around 1,000 acres of land, which is nearly quadruple the size of the FutureFactory where it presently manufactures S1 Pro electric scooters. While specifics on Ola Electric’s next project are limited at the time, this vehicle would be manufactured at the company’s planned facility in Tamilnadu.
In India, the firm now sells the S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters. The demand for these two-wheelers has been strong, but it has been diminishing in recent months. Both of these two-wheelers are produced at the company’s Futurefactory.
