Keeway is ready to enter the Indian automobile market with its products

Keeway, a Hungarian two-wheeler brand, has debuted three products in India, with plans to launch five more this year. Both the Hungarian and Benelli marques are owned by the China-based Qianjiang Motorcycle business.

The K-Light 250V Cruiser is the brand’s initial product, followed by two scooters, the Vieste 300 Maxi Scooter and the 300i Retro Classic Scooter. The price announcement for these three products will happen next week, while the booking amount for all three products has been set at Rs 10,000.

The K-Light 250V Cruiser and two scooters, the Vieste 300 Maxi Scooter and the 300i Retro Classic Scooter have been introduced by the brand. The prices for these three products will be announced next week, and the booking fee for all three has been fixed at Rs 10,000.

The first 250cc V-Twin engine with a belt-driven mechanism is featured in the Keeway K-Light 250V cruiser. With a wide handlebar and curved seat, it features a relaxed stance for a comfortable ride. The front suspension is telescopic, while the rear suspension is hydraulic. A small LED headlamp array front and center, as well as around the DRL, simulates the appearance of a retro halogen lamp. The fender is attached to the swingarm, which incorporates LED taillights. There is now a 20-liter gasoline tank. At 8,500rpm, the 250cc V-Twin motor produces 18.7bhp and 19Nm of torque at 5,500rpm. There will be three colour options for this motorcycle.

The Keeway Vieste 300

The Keeway Vieste 300 scooter features a 278cc liquid-cooled four-stroke engine that generates 18.7bhp and 22Nm of torque. With four LED projectors and DRLs upfront, the European design scooter has a modern ethos. The taillights are also LED, and the turn indicators are flush with the bodywork. The scooter has a 12-liter gasoline tank, front and rear disc brakes, telescopic front suspension, twin-channel ABS, and a traditional belt drive system. Matte Black, Matte Blue, and Matte White are the three colors available.

The Sixties 300i, a scooter with a throwback style from the 1960s as the name suggests, would be the third Keeway product to be presented first in India. The front grille element, fender ornament, chrome, and other details contribute to the retro style. It is powered by a 278cc engine tuned to the same specifications as the Vieste 300. The Sixties 300i comes standard with smartphone-connected technology, a split seat, LED lighting, under-seat storage, and more.

Keeway’s products will be produced alongside Benelli’s in the company’s Hyderabad plant. Originally designed for small-scale production, the facility has been modified to accommodate monthly volumes of up to 30,000 units.
