Kartik Aaryan turns into Alaya F’s psycho lover in new Freddy teaser

With a new teaser released, Kartik Aaryan unleashed a new avatar in his upcoming film, Freddy. In a new teaser clip, he does romance but with a twist. In the film, Kartik plays the role of a psycho dentist and Alaya F appears as his love interest and one of his victims as well.

The new teaser begins with a glimpse of the sweet romance between Kartik and Alaya F who end up getting married. However, things take a different turn once Kartik starts showing his true colours. In one scene, he appears to be choking Alaya and tying her up.

She has bruises on her face as she screams for her life. It ends with Kartik trying to extract Alaya’s ‘beautiful’ teeth. She is seated on his dentist’s chair forcefully. Earlier, the makers had released a teaser that had limited scenes of Alaya.

Sharing the video, Kartik wrote on Instagram, “Appointments open 2nd December.” Responding to it, a fan wrote, “Claps for @ alayaf !!! this few seconds clip makes me so excited for her role.” “Kartik Aaryan giving Goosebumps nowadays,” added another one. Many also urged the film’s team to release the trailer soon.

The movie is directed by Shashanka Ghosh. Notably, Freddy is Karthik’s first film after the box-office success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. He had to put on 14 kgs for the role. It is slated to release on December 2 on Disney + Hotstar.

Apart from this, Kartik also has several films in the pipeline. He has Satya Prem Ki Katha alongside Kiara Advani. He was recently roped in Aashiqui 3. The makers are yet to reveal which actor will star opposite Kartik in Aashiqui 3 and Hera Pheri 3.

Kartik will be next seen in Shehzada, which marks his reunion with co-star Kriti Sanon after their hit film Luka Chuppi. Directed by Rohit Dhawan, the film will release in February 2023. It is the Hindi remake of the Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo starring Allu Arjun.
