BTS member Jin drops concept photos of The Astronaut.

Kim Seon-jin aka Jin of BTS is all set to drop his first official solo music titled ‘The Astronaut’. The song has been co-written by Jin along with Coldplay. Jin announced the same during the Busan concert which was hosted on October 15, 2022. Following that, BIGHIT MUSIC revealed that solo music by Jin will be released on October 28, 2022. Along with that, Jin has flown down to Argentina to join Coldplay for their concert where they will perform in The Astronaut for the first time.

New concept pictures of Jin for the solo release have been unveiled and it will pique everyone’s interest. The song puts to words Jin’s fondness for ARMY and is a gift to them as the singer is all set to enlist for mandatory military service soon. The song’s logo trailer was shared recently where you can see Jin as an astronaut who spacewalks through hurdles to find his happy space aka ARMY love. In the new concept pics titled ‘Outlander’ and ‘Land on Earth’, Jin showcases the extension of his musician side, exploring unknown territories and finding himself in this.

ABOUT JIN

The music video teaser will drop on October 27, 2022, followed by the release on October 28. The song is reportedly Coldplay’s gift to Jin. It is no secret that Coldplay shares a great bond with BTS members. The vocalist also won his first solo award for ‘Yours’ at the recently held TMAs.

For those unaware, Jin is the oldest member of BTS. His solo music includes ‘Awake’, ‘Epiphany’, and ‘Moon’. Apart from ‘Yours’ he has lent his voice to K-dramas, including’ Even If I Die, It’s You’ (Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth soundtrack). In 2021, he released a cheerful song titled ‘Super Tuna’ which was made available on Spotify recently.
