EXCLUSIVE! Sajid Khan to be forcibly evicted in the next Weekend ka Waar episode?
The makers have been facing a brutal backlash since the time Sajid entered the Big Boss house.
Since the start of Big Boss season 16, filmmaker Sajid Khan has been on people’s radars. The MeToo accused filmmaker made a comeback to the entertainment industry with Big Boss season 16 after being banned by The Indian Film and Television Directors’ Association (IFTDA) from directing any movies. There have been ongoing debates and unending controversies about Sajid Khan’s participation in BB16 outside the Big Boss house ever since he entered. The netizens took a sly dig at the makers and host of the show, Salman Khan, for allowing someone who’s been accused of sexual harassment allegations to ‘revive’ his career and clean his ‘image’.
The makers have been facing a brutal backlash since the time Sajid entered the Big Boss house. Recently, Bollywood actress Mandana Karimi, who was one of the nine actresses who accused the filmmaker of the sexual harassment allegations, chose to quit the Bollywood industry after Sajid was allowed inside the Big Boss house as a contestant in ongoing season 16. The Delhi Commission of Women (DCW) Chief, Swati Maliwal had previously written a letter to the I&B Ministry demanding to remove filmmaker Sajid Khan from the Big Boss show. Most recently, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) came in support of the filmmaker and wrote a letter to Union Minister Anurag Thakur, informing him that Sajid has already served his punishment and the ban on him was uplifted in March 2019, therefore the filmmaker can legally be inside the Big Boss house as a contestant.
According to the sources, all the chaos and an unending trail of controversies around Sajid’s participation in the ongoing big boss season 16, has forced the makers of the show to forcibly evict Sajid Khan from the show in the upcoming Weekend Ka Waar episode which will be hosted by Salman Khan.
Meanwhile, many celebrities, including Shehnaaz Kaur Gill and Kashmera Shah have supported the filmmaker and have defended his ‘right to earn money’ while working in the entertainment industry. Other artists, including Sherlyn Chopra and Urfi Javed have publically demanded the filmmaker’s removal from the show.
It would be fascinating to watch if the makers would decide to remove Sajid Khan from the show due to the continuous controversy, as Big Boss 16 enters its third week and has already seen the season’s first elimination of TV actress Sreejita De.
