Drishyam 2 makers unveil Akshaye Khanna’s character poster. Seen yet?
Akshaye Khanna is the new entry in the franchise
The makers of Drishyam 2 shared the first-looking poster of Akshaye Khanna. Akshaye was not a part of the original film. He will be seen as a new entry in the sequel. The film centres around Vijay Salgaonkar and his family. The first part of the film was set in Goa and a recent recall of the journey of the family has definitely got curiosity piqued amongst fans.

Details about the actor`s character have been kept under wraps. Akshaye is the new entry in the franchise, which features Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav and Rajat Kapoor, reprising their roles from the first part of the thriller.
Just like its first installment, `Drishyam 2` is also a remake of the acclaimed Malayalam film of the same name starring Mohanlal. The film is all set to release on November 18. Drishyam 2 is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak and Krishan Kumar. The original score and music is by Rockstar DSP (Devi Sri Prasad).
Panorama Studios, the production house of Drishyam 2 unveiled the character poster of Akshay Khanna from the film. “Dushman ko haraane ka mauka aksar dushman aapko khud deta hai #Drishyam2 Case Reopens on 18th November, 2022 (sic),” read the caption.

DRISHYAM 2 TEAM WRAP SHOOTING
Recently, Ajay shared the recall teaser and wrote, “Vijay aur uske parivaar ki kahaani toh yaad hogi na aapko? Ki yaad dilaye?” Drishyam franchise is the Hindi remake of the hit Malayalam flick of the same name, which was helmed by National Award-winning director Nishikant Kamat. For those unaware, Nishikant Kamat’s Drishyam is an emotional thriller that deals with the story of a cable operator, Vijay Salgaonkar (Ajay), whose life revolves around cinema and his family; wife Nandini (Shriya Saran) and daughters Anju and Anu. Tabu plays the role of IG Meera Deshmukh in the film.
