Delhi court issues non-bailable warrant against Bobby Kataria

Famous social media influencer Bobby Kataria has now a non-bailable warrant issued to his name. The influencer with over 6 million followers landed in trouble when a video of him smoking in an airplane went viral. The video that surfaced in August captured Kataria smoking on a Spicejet flight.
The concerned airline informed about the video being of January 2022. Moreover, a spokesperson for the airline informed that after a thorough investigation, they filed an official complaint against Kataria with the Gurugram Police. Kataria has been on a run ever since the video surfaced, and the police have been on the lookout for him.
And now, the Delhi Court has issued a non-bailable warrant against him for the same. According to the complaint filed by Spicejet’s manager, the Delhi Police booked him under section 3(1)(C) of the Suppression of Unlawful Acts Against Safety of Civil Aviation Act, 1982. But the influencer has been on the run ever since and the police have yet not been able to nab him.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Airport Tanu Sharma has put forth a statement that they’ll soon nab him. “Our teams had recently raided one of his locations but he was not found there. Look out circular has already been opened against him. Now, the court has also issued a non-bailable warrant. The police have obtained a non-bailable warrant, now we will arrest him soon,” DCP said.
Apparently, Kataria himself posted the pictures and videos of him with a lighter and cigarette from the Spicejet flight on his social media accounts. Moreover, he captioned the content, “Only TRP is needed. Speak anything and keep politicians engaged.”
