Comedian Raju Srivastava gains consciousness after 15 days

Srivastava collapsed at the gym on August 10 after suffering a heart attack and experiencing chest pain.

Raju Srivastava, an actor-comedian who has been in the intensive care unit since August 10 after suffering a massive heart attack, regained consciousness on Thursday after 15 days.

According to ANI, his personal secretary Garvit Narang informed that Srivastava is being monitored by doctors at AIIMS, Delhi, where he is currently being treated.

Narang added that Srivastava’s health is now improving. Sunil Pal, a comedian, announced a day ago that Srivastava’s condition was stable and that he would be taken off the ventilator soon.

Srivastava collapsed at the gym on August 10 after suffering a heart attack and experiencing chest pain.

His coach drove him to the hospital. Srivastava was in Delhi at the time of the heart attack to meet with state leaders.

When the 58-year-old complained of chest pain while running on a treadmill in a gym, he was on the treadmill. On the same day, he had an angioplasty.

Deepu Srivastava, his brother, thanked all fans for their prayers a few days ago, saying that while Srivastava remains in the hospital, his fans’ prayers are being heard.

Deepu urged people not to pay attention to ridiculous rumours about his health and asked fans to continue showering his brother with well-wishes.
