Sima Taparia Calls Anushka-Virat An ‘Ideal Match’ After Rejecting Priyanka-Nick As ‘Mismatched’
After rejecting Nick and Priyanka’s pairing, Sima aunty is back in the news for voicing her favourite Bollywood couple. When asked about her ideal Bollywood couple in an interview, she responded, “Call me old, but I think Hema Malini and Dharmendra are perfect, and among the youngsters, it’s Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli.”

Sima Taparia is known for speaking her mind, and the second season of Indian Matchmaking would not have been as successful without its fair share of controversy. Meme creators have enjoyed the show because they can make memes out of anything Sima says. The matchmaker recently commented on Nick and Priyanka’s pairing, stating that it was not an ideal match.
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli married in a private ceremony in 2017 and now have a daughter. Dharmendra and Hema Malini married in 1980, despite the fact that Dharmendra was already married and had children with his first wife, Prakash Kaur.
Nadia told Sima Taparia that she liked Vishal, but the matchmaker expressed concern about the age gap because he was seven years younger than her and suggested that it might not be a good match for her.
When Nadia joked about the age gap between Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, Sima responded, “But I don’t feel it’s a good match, sorry to tell them.” They married despite the fact that they were never a good match.
She is acting hypocritically, however, because her favourite Bollywood couple is Hema Malini and Dharmendra, despite the fact that Hema is 13 years younger than Dharmendra. She also labelled Nick and Priyanka as’mismatched,’ pointing out that Priyanka is 11 years older than Nick.
Let’s be clear: Sima seems to be okay with the woman being younger even if the age difference exceeds 10 years, but she would not like a couple where the woman is older than her husband. She thinks that there will inevitably be conflicts because of the maturity level.
Indian Matchmaking Season 1 and 2 are currently streaming on Netflix.
