Comedian Raju Srivastava Suffers Heart Attack While Working Out At Gym, Admitted To AIIMS ICU

Raju Srivastava, an actor-comedian, has suffered a heart attack and has been admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi.

Raju Srivastava, an actor-comedian, has suffered a heart attack and has been admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi.

Raju Srivastava’s brother and publicist confirmed the news, stating that the actor suffered a heart attack while working out at a gym. Raju’s health deteriorated, and he collapsed unconscious on the floor, according to them.

While things could have gotten worse, reports suggest that Raju Srivastava didn’t suffer a major attack and that it was a mild heart attack and he is responding well to the treatment at the hospital.

On the work front, Raju Srivastava featured in several television shows including – The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, Dekh Bhai Dekh,  Bigg Boss Season 3 and in Bollywood movies such as – Bombay to Goa and Akshay Kumar-Bhumi Pednekar’s popular Toilet: Ek Prem Katha.

According to Raju Srivastava’s PR Ajit Saxena, the comedian was in Delhi for a meeting with political leaders. Saxena further stated that Raju is in the ICU and his pulse rate is back.

He also added that a health update will be officially issued soon. Meanwhile, 58-year-old Raju Srivastava’s fans are praying for his speedy recovery.

Heart attacks are becoming more common these days, and many celebrities have died as a result of one. The entertainment industry has lost some of its gems due to heart attacks, including Sidharth Shukla and singer KK.
