Netflix India drops Jaadugar trailer starring Jitendra Kumar, Jaaved Jaaferi and Arushi Sharma
The trailer for the forthcoming sports comedy-drama Jaadugar, starring Panchayat and Kota Factory fame actor Jitendra Kumar as a magician-turned-footballer, was released on Tuesday by Netflix.
Jaadugar will be available for streaming on Netflix from July 15. The film is directed by Sameer Saxena and written by Biswapati Sarkar, both of whom are frequent collaborators at TVF.
Netflix India’s official Twitter handle shared the trailer and announced the release date of the film on Tuesday.

The film also stars Jaaved Jaaferi as Jitendra’s coach and Arushi Sharma as his romantic interest.
The two-minutes-36-second long trailer starts with Jitendra Kumar introducing himself as Meenu, a.k.a “Magic Meenu”, a part-time lover and full-time magician in the trailer. Meenu lives in the football-crazed town of Neemuch and is a member of a football colony team even though he lacks athletic ability.
Because each member of his squad has their own peculiarities, Jaaved struggles to inspire them to win an inter-colony competition. Meenu ignores his coach’s instructions and focuses on his magic in the meanwhile.
But all changes when Meenu develops feelings for Arushi Sharma’s character while getting her eyes checked. Meenu makes a marriage proposal to her, but first he has to get his colony’s football team to the championship game. When the tables are turned on him, his coach won’t let Meenu join the squad again, so he has to pick up football in order to get back with his beloved.

The 31-year-old actor who recently starred in Prime Video’s popular series Panchayat also shared the trailer on Instagram. “Main Meenu .. Raaton ki neendein Cheenu.. Trailer is here .. Streaming from 15th July on Netflix..,” the caption read.
