After winning over the Indian audience, Alia Bhatt is now set to woo the global audience as she has been working on her maiden Hollywood project, The Heart Of Stone. The actress shared the big news with her fans a few days back and they haven’t been able to keep calm since then.
Alia’s husband, Ranbir Kapoor, is one of Alia’s millions of fans. In a recent interview, Ranbir discussed Alia’s upcoming Hollywood debut as well as his own aspirations for the future.
The Rockstar actor has stated that he has no desire to star in a Hollywood film. He stated that he is currently just focusing on Brahmastra, in which he would be sharing screen space for the first time with Alia.
“I only have dreams of Brahmastra. I think original content that is in your culture and is entertaining can touch every audience,” Ranbir told Dainik Jagran, adding that he is scared of auditions.
Further, he added, praising his wife, who is headed to Hollywood, “I have never seen the success and dreams of Alia in anyone else.”
Alia recently delivered a solo Rs 100 crore film with Gangubai Kathiawadi. In her first Hollywood project, the shooting for which is underway, she is starring alongside Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan.
Meanwhile, Ranbir has kickstarted the promotional campaign for Brahmastra and Alia is expected to join him soon. Envisioned as a trilogy, the film has been directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
The trailer of the mythological drama will be out this week, on June 15, whereas the film will be hitting the screens on September 9. Brahmastra also features Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles.
