IS THE MAGIC WAND OF BJP’s “POLARIZATION” VANISHING?

Is the much evident “Modi Hangover” retarding with time? Is the established renowned political strategist Amit Shah mistaking somewhere? Both the questions have certainly gained importance after the loss at the recent By-polls because if each win is attributed to this magical duo then why not the responsibility to the loss? At the end, whose loss is this?

The by-polls on 4 Lok Sabha Seats and 11 Assembly seats had hit on 28th May in which BJP could register its win only in Maharashtra’s Palghar’s Lok Sabha seat and Uttarakhand’s Tharali Assembly seat. The difference with which they won was also very meager. The opposition stood winning in the by-polls that were conducted almost pan-India in different places.

Out of all, Kairana was one that constituency, loosing which BJP would sigh for long. After the 2013-riots, the Muslim majority Kairana who had once in 2014 given one-sided votes to Modi has today dejected the Shah-Modi duo’s efforts to win.

What remained interesting in all this was the fact that the local politicians had already sensed the upcoming loss in wake of the week strategies, but could do nothing in the presence of the prominent leaders of the party, thereby rendering the opposition’s firm plan of action getting successful.

It’s an amazing co-incidence that the serial in which the leaders Sharad Yadav, Sonia Gandhi, Mayawati, Ajit Singh, Rahul Gandhi, Sitaram Yecchuri, Kumarswammy, Tejaswi Yadav and Akhilesh Yadav were seen standing was replicated as they won the By-polls in the same series.

That means, it has clearly indicated the national and regional parties that have come into the alliance in a movement which is more of an anti-Modi campaign to stay in alliance willingly or unwillingly for 2019 general elections. But, it is equally important for the throne holder BJP that why contrary to the unexpected and unbelievable win in 2014, they have registered a huge loss at the 22 seats out of the 27 Lok Sabha seats for which the by-polls were conducted, which included major areas as Phulpur, Kairana and Gorakhpur. Almost the same scenario was seen in the recent Assembly polls also. The supporters and alliances of the BJP, having started with the preparation of the strategies, are in panic and that is very evident.

In this scenario, BJP, considering Modi to be unbeatable, needs to be more vigilant. And that too when besides small politicians important leaders as Subramaniam Swammy have also questioned their behavior, pride and ego and where the party politicians themselves have commenced a campaign against fire brand leader Yogi on Facebook.

Anyways, there lies a self-created line in front of the party in power that was created by them in 2014, to which if they fail to sketch a bigger line they would automatically trigger a question on Modi’s charismatic personality and also on the strict decisions taken by him.

BECAUSE, AS VICTORY IS THE ANSWER TO ALL QUESTIONS

SIMILARLY, DEFEAT ALSO PROVOKES MANY OLD QUESTIONS.
